With the new generation of TECEfloor PE-RT pipes and the new dry-wall panels, TECE is using the biomass balance approach (BMB) in production for the first time, thereby supporting the use of biogenic raw materials. The use of waste and residual materials from biomass enables fossil raw materials to be saved and helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The BMB process
As part of the biomass balance, biogenic raw materials are used together with fossil raw materials in the production of basic chemical products in the production network. The BMB process approach makes it possible to document the origin of raw materials. In this way, both the TECEfloor underfloor heating pipe and the corresponding dry-wall panel are given a (calculated) proportion of biogenic polymers, which is the prerequisite for the official product certification of the underfloor heating pipe and dry-wall panel.

With the third generation of the TECEflex RazFaz tool set, TECE is taking the expansion and pressing of axial connections to a new level. The revised design is not only more compact, but also 200 grams lighter than its predecessor.
